8vo (160 x 95mm.), contemporary Italian blind-tooled morocco over pasteboard with stubs of alum-tawed ties, early manuscript notes at end, first two leaves detached, a1_8 shorter, a few wormholes in first and last few leaves with some loss of text, occasional slight water-damage, binding somewhat worn and wormed with knife cuts along the edges of the central panel

The condition of the binding means that the binding structure can be seen clearly. The book is sewn on two leather thongs which are laced into the boards and the lacings covered with a small square of paper.
