2 volumes, folio (354 x 214mm.), engraved frontispiece portrait, title printed in red and black, woodcut printer's device on title-page, woodcut initials and headpieces, engraved and woodcut illustrations, 30 engraved plates, with an advertisement leaf at the start of volume 2, contemporary vellum, portrait frayed in gutter and slightly soiled, small tear in Xx1 in volume 2, Ccc3-4 bound upside down, last two leaves becoming detached, some browning and staining, bindings slightly rubbed with a few small defects
