Catalogue Note

This copy of the second edition (with index) of the Canones is one of perhaps twelve (according to Renouard) checked against the manuscript proceedings to ensure that the text was accurate, and signed by the secretary and two notaries of the Council. There is a Latin note to this effect on the verso of the colophon with the signatures of all three, Angelo Massarelli, bishop of Telese, Marcantonio Pellegrini, cleric of Como, and Cinzio Pamphili, cleric of Camerino.
