4 volumes, 4to (306 x 232mm.), copy number 95 of a limited edition of 175 copies, signed by Colette beneath the justification, volume 1 signed on the title-page "offert à Monsieur J. Ortiz-Linares, bien cordialement, Colette" together with an ink drawings of a woman's head, 24 engravings by Dignimont, Daragnès, Moreau and Segonzac, brown crushed morocco bindings by Paul Bonet, covers with small gilt dots and coloured morocco inlaid dots (a different colour for each volume to match the original wrappers) with a silver fillet design on covers, spines lettered in gilt, with matching chemises and slipcases, top edges gilt, others uncut, original wrappers bound in

Jorge Ortiz-Linares, presentation inscription by Colette. He was a Bolivian diplomat and the father of Jaime Ortiz-Patiño, and a great collector of French literature.
