Condition

Original canvas. There is an old possible surface abrasion to the centre of the top extreme right hand edge, with further tiny old framing abrasions visible to the corners, only visible upon close inspection. This excepting the work appears in good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals a few small spots of fluorescence and probable retouchings to the extreme edges, most probably in line with a previous framing, with a further spot in the bottom right hand corner of the central black circle. These have been sensitively executed. Housed in a thin, light strip wooden frame. Please contact the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
