Condition
The work is in good condition overall, as is the canvas, which is clear and taut. There is evidence of light wear and handling around the edges of the painting, along with very faint networks of craquelures scattered throughout the surface, but they are only visible upon close observation. Examination under ultraviolet light shows thin networks of restorations sprinkled on the background, the bottom margin, and predominantly along the left border and the figure's body. This is not visible with the naked eye. Framed.
