Condition

The work is in good condition overall, as is the board, which is free from warping. There is evidence of light wear and handling around the edges of the painting, along with associated minor paint losses along the top border. Upon close observation, there is evidence of a watermark below the signature, a pin-sized hole on the girl's head accessory (beige paint), minor discoloration of paint to the left of the girls' head (sky area), two tiny spots of media accretion on the bottom left corner and two minute paint losses on her hair (bottom right quadrant). Examination under ultraviolet light shows light touch ups on the background of the palm trees Framed, with the artist's original frame.
