Condition
The work is in overall good condition. The canvas is taut and the paint layers are intact. Evidence of minor wear and handling, but this is due to the age of the work and does not detract from the quality of the painting. Two very faint stain marks located next to the man's arm and above the fire, however they are only visible upon close examination. Under ultraviolet light inspection there are no signs of restoration. Framed.
