Condition
The work is in good condition overall, as is the silk, which is clear and free from runs. There is evidence of light wear and handling on the edges of the painting, but the paint layers are healthy and well-preserved. Under ultraviolet light inspection reveals gentle touch-ups predominantly along the top and left margins, on the right figure's hair, below her breast area, and also on the background area (near the figure with her back turned.) However, this is not visible with the naked eyes. Framed.
