Provenance
Sotheby's Hong Kong, October 7 2012, Lot 278
Condition
This work is in good condition overall. There is indication of minor wear and handling with associated nicks and chips around the edges and margins, predominantly on the right margin of the left panel. The work exhibits a more dynamic interplay of colour in reality as the gold shimmers are lost in the catalogue illustration. Examination under ultraviolet light indicates no evidence of retouching.
