Condition

The painting is in good condition over all, as viewed. There are small areas of consolidation throughout the surface of the canvas, particularly in the upper and lower left sections of the painting. The surface of the canvas is undulating and will benefit from re-stretching. There are very minor losses in the painting and there is hairline craquelure present throughout the painting, particularly in areas of impasto which is consistent with the age and medium of the work.
