Condition
The illustration is accurate. Good overall condition despite the usual minor scratches and marks due to age and handling. The gilding is later. Some chips to the gilding revealing the white gesso or wood underneath. The gilding has been refreshed in some areas.
A loss on each lateral pierced frieze of the rail.
As visible on the illustration, the gilding of the feet has been refreshed with a gold paint which is now tarnished.
Nice marble top with the usual minor scratches and marks.
