Ce modèle de tasse à sorbet est nommé « petits seaux pour glace » dans la facture de 1787 et sont une réduction des seaux à rafraichir dont nous présentons ici un exemplaire de la deuxième grandeur. Soixante-deux de cette dimension furent réalisés pour le service du duc d’Orléans. Les collections royales anglaises en conservent vingt-huit, deux exemplaires sont au Metropolitan Museum of Art à New York et deux au musée d'Art et d'Histoire de Bruxelles.
