Condition

The illustration is accurate despite a little too bright. Good overall condition despite the usual minor scratches and marks due to age and handling. There are the usual minor restorations to the marquetry. Some minor shrinkage hair cracks on each front door. The gilding of the mounts is slightly tarnished. Ready to use.

Il est très probable que Boudin, ébéniste et marchand, sous-traita le décor extrêmement raffiné de ce bonheur-du-jour à un des virtuoses de la marqueterie de fleurs, tels que Christophe Wolff ou Brice Péridiez, connus pour avoir régulièrement collaboré avec Boudin.
