the gold link bracelet suspending nine lapis lazuli beads measuring approximately 15.0 to 12.5 mm, length 7½ in. Together with a gold box in the form of two books, applied with lapis lazuli tablets. With an oval-shaped locket pendant applied with lapis lazuli and centering a row of seed pearls. Also comprising a gold brooch in the form of a cannon with a spinning wheel. 4 pieces.

Condition

BRACELET: In good condition. Gold tests as 15K. While tarnished, there is no loss or discoloration. Lapis lazuli beads are intact with no loss, and display a pleasant strong blue color with some mottling as expected, along with minor flecks of pyrite. Some signs of dried adhesive are visible where the bail has been mounted into the lapis lazuli. Accompanied by a note from James Robinson Antiques stating the bracelet was made in England circa 1880. PILL BOX: In good condition. Lapis lazuli is of a strong blue hue with some dappling of pyrite. Highly etched gold exterior shows signs of some tarnish and one small dent to the bottom. Measures approximately 1 1/4 x 1 inch. LOCKET: In good condition. Lapis lazuli displays a strong blue hue and minor gold flecks. Split seed pearls are of decorative quality and are all present. To open hold locket flat in front of you, pull both sides simultaneously, clasp is firm so a little force might be needed. Interior glaze in good condition with no cracks. Measures approximately 1 x 3/4 inch not including bail. PIN: In good condition. Heavy tarnish to the wheel of the cannon is visible and slight bend to the ramrod fixture otherwise the condition is very good with no signs of loss. Tests as 14 karat gold, measures approximately 1 1/2 inches.
