designed as a salamander, the body applied with green enamel to resemble scales, accented by cabochon sapphires, completed by two sugarloaf cabochon ruby eyes, gross weight approximately 13 dwts, signed Verdura.

Condition

In very good condition. No enamel loss, and little to no wear to the gold. All sapphires are intact with no loss, but minor abrasions to the top of the cabochons. Sapphires are a medium blue hue and semi-translucent. The eyes set with rubies show a medium red hue and are moderately included. Signature appears on the underside the the tail end. Dimensions approximately 2 1/8 x 1 7/8 inches.
