comprising two polished gold band rings, the first centering a cushion-cut sapphire weighing approximately 1.35 carats, flanked by two old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately .35 carat, size 6¼. The second band ring set with three old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately .85 carat, mounted in 14 karat gold, size 7¾. The third ring of crossover design, set with one round sapphire weighing approximately .75 carat and one old European-cut diamond weighing approximately .70 carat, size 3½. 3 pieces.

Condition

SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND RING: In good to fair condition. Sapphire and diamond bypass ring shows wear to the shank with modest abrasion to the gold, lead solder is visible at the bottom of the gallery. Sapphire is of a strong blue hue, with one surface-reaching inclusion visible under 10X magnification. The diamond is approximately J-K color, SI clarity. DIAMOND AND YELLOW GOLD RING: In good condition. Some wear to the back of the ring shank visible with minor abrasions and a seam visible from possible sizing. Marked 585 on shank for 14 karat gold. Diamonds are approximately J-K color, SI clarity. SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND RING: In fair condition. Ring shank has been slightly bent out of round, and shows much abrasion to the gold surface, one clear French hallmark visible at the back of the ring shank. Please note that one diamond has a sizable chip that reaches from the table to the crown. Diamonds are approximately K-L color and I clarity.
