the oval-shaped compact of fluted design, centering a cluster of multi-colored reverse-set sapphires weighing approximately 45.00 carats, accented by small round diamonds, the interior fitted with one small lidded compartment and a mirror, gross weight approximately 106 dwts, signed Verdura.
Condition
In good condition. Box does show surface abrasions to the bottom, consistent with normal use. Interior is in very good condition with only minor loss to the foil on the interior mirror in two spots. Invisible push button on box front will open the box. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS-SI clarity. Due to the sapphires having been set pavillion end up, there is evidence of abrading to the facet junctions as well as a few chips. All sapphires are eye-clean to very lightly included. Measures approximately 3 inches by 2 1/4 inches by 3/4 inch. Gross weight approximately 93 dwts.
