the diamond-set sphere topped by fluted gold plumes, set with round diamonds weighing approximately 5.70 carats, gross weight approximately 15 dwts, signed Verdura; circa 1950.

Condition

Overall very good condition; minor abrasions to the gold on the backside of two plumes, not visible when worn and only noticeable under 10X magnification. The diamonds are approximately E-G color, VVS-VS clarity; Verdura signature along the top side edge of the pin mechanism, scratch number C1135 on the underside of the top of the pin mechanism. Height approximately 2 1/4 inches, width approximately 1 3/4 inches.
