Condition

This work is in good condition overall. There are some light, scattered surface abrasions and some tarnishing, which is more prevalent on the reverse and on the silver wire. These conditions are to be expected of a wearable work from this period. There is evidence of a few unobtrusive dents on the surface, likely due to the artistÂ’s working method.

Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report.
