Condition

This work consists of thirty pieces of flattened silver and is accompanied by a template and installation instructions. The installation takes the form of a circular pool (44 in. or 108 cm.) of thirty crushed silver plated objects that are suspended to hover (4.5 in. or 14 cm.) above the ground. The work is in very good condition overall. There is some variation to the surface of each element, including irregular indentations, rough edging, and some splitting of the silver, due to the artist's working method. There are faint surface scratches and some varied levels of oxidation throughout. There are a few missing loops where the wire connects to the silver elements.
