Set with an oval amethyst, decorated with similarly cut collet-set peridot shoulders, size 49, signed René Boivin, French assay mark.

Condition

Signed René Boivin, French assay mark for gold. The amethyst measuring approximately 21.65 x 15.61 x 11.38 mm, calculated to weigh 18.00 - 20.50 carats, of medium strong saturation, with typical crystal inclusions and nicks and abrasions to facet edges. Peridots well matched in colour with typical crystal inclusions and moderate abrasions and nicks to surfaces consistent with wear. Normal signs of wear to the metal. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 16 grams.
