Description
- Rubies, diamonds, silver, gold
Designed as a butterfly with wings en tremblant, set throughout with circular-cut and cushion-shaped diamonds and oval and cushion-shaped rubies, the eyes collet-set with cabochon rubies, detachable brooch fitting.
Condition
Rubies purplish-red of medium strong saturation, well-matched in colour, with typical inclusions, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 6.00-8.00 carats. The central diamond estimated to weigh approximately 2.20 carats, H - I colour, VS clarity, as graded and gauged in the mounting. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 20.00 - 25.00 carats, on average G - I colour, SI - I clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Signs of wear to the metal consistent with age and use. In very good condition; well preserved. Gross weight approximately 62 grams.
