Antique coin, diamond and gold demi-parure, Bulgari, and a ring

Comprising: a gold chain necklace set with three Roman coins including a bronze quadran, a gold aureus and a silver denarius, each stamped with a profile of Antoninus Pius, within a surround pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 390mm, two links detachable, shortest length approximately 330mm; a pair of ear clips set with a gold aureus and a silver denarius from emperor Adrianus' reign, similarly framed; and a ring set with a gold dechadrachm from Syracuse, stamped with the profile of Persephone, on a decorative mount set with brilliant-cut diamonds, size 51, later modified; each signed Bulgari.

Necklace: signed BVLGARI, MADE IN ITALY. Stamped 18Kt for 18 carat gold; mounted in yellow gold. Inscriptions on the reverse referring to the coins: ROMAN EMPIRE ANTONINVS PIVS 138-161 A.D. QVADRANS; ROMAN EMPIRE ANTONINVS PIVS 138-161 A.D. AVREVS; ROMAN EMPIRE ANTONINVS PIVS 138-161 A.D. DENARIVS. Ear clips: each signed BVLGARI, each numbered BV111. Each Stamped 18Kt for 18 carat gold and Pt for platinum. One inscribed: MADE IN ITALY ADRIANVS 117 - 138 A.D. AVREVS. The other inscribed: MADE IN ITALY ADRIANVS 117 - 138 A.D. DENARIVS. Ring: signed BVLGARI, stamped 20K for 20 carat gold; mounted in yellow gold. Inscribed: MADE IN ITALY SYRACVSE 287 - 278. Ring with evidence of later modifications; coin may have been replaced. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 15.00 - 20.00 carats, on average H - K colour, SI-I clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, evidence of possible resizing to the interior of the ring band, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 247 grams.
