Ruby and diamond ring

Set with an oval ruby weighing 5.13 carats, within a frame of similarly shaped diamonds, the shoulders decorated with brilliant-cut stones, size 53, sizing band signed VCA, numbered. 

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains rubies of Burmese origin and therefore cannot be imported into the US. Accompanied by SSEF report no. 37033, dated 26 March 2001, stating that the oval ruby weighing 5.13 carats and measuring 10.88 x 8.93 x 5.93mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of thermal enhancement. Signed VCA, numbered CS04543 on the sizing band. Stamped Pt 950 for platinum. Ruby red of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, few nicks and abrasions, for further details, please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 5.00 - 6.00 carats, on average G - H colour, VS - SI clarity. Signs of wear to the metal consistent with normal use. Gross weight approximately 14 grams.
