Set with twelve oval sapphires within frames of brilliant-cut diamonds, separated by marquise-shaped diamonds, length approximately 170mm, signed Bulgari.

Condition

Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 59465, stating that the sapphires measuring from approximately 12.48 x 8.82 x 6.30 to 9.00 x 6.94 x N/A (depth difficult to measure due to mounting, measured by Sotheby's as 5.77mm), include ten of Ceylon origin and two (no. 7 and 12 from the tongue) of Burmese origin, each with no gemmological evidence of heat. Signed Bulgari. Stamped Pt950 for platinum and OR on the clasp fitting for gold. Sapphires blue of medium strong saturation, with good transparency and typical inclusions, some lightly surface reaching, and very few nicks and abrasions visible under magnification; for further information on the sapphires please refer to the AGL report. Diamonds calculated to weigh a total of approximately 15.50 - 17.50 carats, G - J colour, VS - SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with light use. Clasp secures by use of safety catch. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 48 grams.
