The slightly pear-shaped emerald weighing 5.96 carats, framed with triangular and circular-cut diamonds, size 541/2, sizing beads, partial French assay and maker's marks.
Condition
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 78977, stating that the slightly pear-shaped emerald weighing 5.96 carats, measuring 16.48 x 11.70 x 4.26mm, is of Colombian origin, with a minor amount of oil in fissures.
Partial French maker's mark. French assay mark for platinum and stamped Pt 950. Emerald green of medium strong saturation, good transparency, with typical inclusions, a few reaching the surface, some chips to girdle visible under magnification; for further details on the central stone, please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 3.00 - 3.70 carats, on average I - L colour, SI - I clarity, as graded and gauged in the mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 14 grams.
