Natural pearl and diamond brooch, early 20th century

Of scroll design, set with circular-cut diamonds around a button shaped natural pearl measuring approximately 13.77 x 14.52 x 12.32mm, suspending a detachable oval natural pearl measuring approximately 9.45 x 9.80 x 13.90mm.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 80042, stating that the pearls measuring approximately 13.77 x 14.52 x 12.32mm and 9.45 x 9.80 x 13.90mm, were found to be natural, saltwater; together with The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report no. 11087. Pearls of white body colour, with few growth marks; for further information on the pearls please refer to the gemmological reports. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 8.50 - 10.50 carats, I - J colour, VS and SI clarity (few I). Rotating safety catch. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with use. Gross weight approximately 24 grams.
