Pair of diamond ear clips, Bulgari, with ruby drops

Each composed of a knot motif, set with carré-cut and baguette diamonds, suspending a drop-shaped ruby capped with tapered baguette diamonds, each signed Bulgari, case stamped Bulgari, ruby drops later replacements.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 80089, stating that the rubies weighing approximately 7.2 and 6.3 carats and measuring approximately 12.50 x 11.10 x 7.95mm and 12.50 x 10.90 x 7.15mm, are of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Each signed Bulgari. Each stamped PT 950 for platinum and 750 for gold. Rudy drops later replacements. Rubies well matched in colour, of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, a few cavities and abrasions visible under magnification. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.50 - 2.50 carats, G - I colour, VS clarity. Hinged back fittings fit securely. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with use. In very good condition. Total gross weight approximately 29 grams. Case signed Bulgari, Rome.
