Each composed of a knot motif, set with carrĂ©-cut and baguette diamonds, suspending a drop-shaped ruby capped with tapered baguette diamonds, each signed Bulgari, case stamped Bulgari, ruby drops later replacements.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains rubies of Burmese origin and therefore cannot be imported into the US. Please note that Sotheby's is not responsible for the accuracy of any estimated weights provided by gemmological certificates. Accompanied by SSEF report no. 80089, stating that the rubies weighing approximately 7.2 and 6.3 carats and measuring approximately 12.50 x 11.10 x 7.95mm and 12.50 x 10.90 x 7.15mm, are of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Each signed Bulgari. Each stamped PT 950 for platinum and 750 for gold. Rudy drops later replacements. Rubies well matched in colour, of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, a few cavities and abrasions visible under magnification. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.50 - 2.50 carats, G - I colour, VS clarity. Hinged back fittings fit securely. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with use. In very good condition. Total gross weight approximately 29 grams. Case signed Bulgari, Rome.
