Description

Composed of three strands of round to oval, drop, button and barrel shaped natural and cultured pearls measuring from approximately 6.20 to 9.90mm, the cross-shaped clasp set with circular-cut and baguette diamonds, length approximately 450mm, clasp signed Chaumet, French assay and maker's marks; together with a yellow gold cover for the clasp decorated with two circular-cut diamonds.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 77663, stating that thirty-three pearls were found to be natural, saltwater, and that one hundred and twenty were found to be cultured; for further details on which pearls are natural and cultured, please refer to the report. Necklace clasp signed Chaumet Paris. French maker's mark for Chaumet. French assay marks for platinum and gold. Pearls white to cream, partly with rosé and green overtones, measuring from approximately 6.20 to 9.90mm, with good luster, some with blemishes and minor growth marks, a few with minor hairlines. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.40 carats, on average G - I colour, VS - I clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Clasp secure, safety latch. In good condition. Clasp cover stamped 18K for 18 carat gold. Designed to make necklace more discreet by covering diamond clasp. Decorated with multiple twisted rope motifs and two diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 0.40 carat. Total gross weight approximately 130 grams.
