One brooch set with a step-cut citrine within a gold scroll frame, signed Chaumet, French assay and maker's marks; the other designed as a tousled gold lion, decorated with single-cut diamonds, black enamel and circular-cut emerald eyes, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

Citrine brooch: Signed Chaumet, French maker's mark. French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Citrine measuring approximately 19.15 x 15.30 x 11.17mm and calculated to weigh approximately 21.50 carats, clean to the naked eye. Sign of wear to the metal consistent with normal use. In good condition. Lion brooch : Signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered 13758 62, French maker's mark. French assay mark and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold, mounted in yellow gold. Enamel in good condition. Emeralds with some chips and abrasions visible under magnification. Diamonds bright and lively. Little signs of wear to the metal. Clasp secure. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 37 grams.
