Description

  • Natural pearls, platinum, gold and diamonds
Composed of a graduated strand of roundish to oval, button and barrel shaped natural pearls measuring from approximately 6.35 to 10.40mm, alternating with seed pearls, the clasp decorated with three circular-cut diamonds, encircled by single-cut stones, length approximately 515mm, French assay and partial maker's marks.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 78448, stating that the forty-six pearls measuring approximately 6.35 - 7.55 - 10.40 - 7.25 - 6.50mm were found to be natural, of which forty-two are saltwater and four are freshwater (Nos. 12, 24, 35, 45 from the clasp). Clasp stamped with partial French maker's mark and French assay mark for gold. Pearls slightly cream to cream, partly with rosé and green overtones, with medium to good luster and varying surface quality, some with natural pits, peeling and growth marks visible under very close inspection. Diamonds bright and lively. Clasp closes securely and includes a safety chain. Signs of wear to the metal consistent with age. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 32 grams.
