Sapphire and diamond ring

Set with an oval sapphire weighing 9.36 carats, highlighted with brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds, size 49, sizing band.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 79297, stating that the sapphire weighing 9.36 carats and measuring 11.98 x 10.20 x 7.91mm, is of Ceylon origin, with indications of heating; additionally accompanied by SSEF report no. 28002, dated 20 March 1995, stating that the sapphire is of Ceylon origin. Maker's mark. Stamped Pt 950 for platinum. Sapphire blue of strong saturation, clean to the naked eye, very few inclusions visible under close inspection, a few nicks and abrasions; for further information please refer to the SSEF reports. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use, sizing band. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 12 grams.
