Spinel and coloured diamond ring, Boucheron

Claw-set with an oval spinel to a bombé mount, the front pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds of yellow tint, size 51^1/2, signed Boucheron, French assay mark.

Stamped Boucheron on inside. Stamped with French assay mark and 750 for 18 carat yellow gold. Spinel estimated to measure approximately 11.65 x 9.75 x 5.60 mm and estimated to weigh approximately 4.30 carat, as gauged in mounting; slightly brownish red, very good transparency, clean to the naked eye, few inclusions visible under 10x magnification, some small scratches and abrasions. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 7 grams. Please note that the diamonds of yellowish tint have not been tested for natural colour.
