Sapphire and diamond ring

The sugarloaf cabochon sapphire weighing 20.25 carats, flanked by a tapered baguette diamond motif, embellished to the front with pavé-set brilliant-cut diamonds, size 52^1/2.

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 72265, stating that the 20.25 carat sapphire, measuring 15.73 x 13.85 x 9.02 mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Stamped Pt900 for platinum. According to the SSEF report, the sapphire is blue of strong saturation, please refer to the report for further information; with typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching visible with 10x magnification. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 3.75 - 4.75 carats, G-J colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Signs of little wear to the mounting consistent with light use. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 70 grams.
