Designed as an articulated band of tiered square rock crystal plaques, set between rows of pyramidal hematite motifs, length approximately 175mm, French assay marks.

Condition
Stamped with French assay mark for 18 carat gold. Rock crystal in good condition with few scratches and minor nicks. Hematite in very good condition. Clasp secure. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 93 grams.

Catalogue Note
As revealed by Françoise Cailles, this bracelet was created for the Maison Boivin by Suzanne Belperron who was inspired in her design by squares of chocolate bars. The present model is named 'Escalier Bordé' and the onyx and diamond version is named 'Chocolat'.
