Composed of a graduated line of marquise-shaped, brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds, suspending a detachable articulated pendant, the centre swing-set with two pear-shaped diamonds, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, French assay and maker's marks, inner circumference approximately 400mm, pouch stamped Van Cleef & Arpels.
Condition
Accompanied by a copy of the insurance valuation from Van Cleef & Arpels, dated 24 November 1964.
Necklace signed Arpels Paris, detachable pendant signed Van Cleef & Arpels, necklace numbered 8256 CS, pendant numbered CS 8257, necklace with maker's marks for VCA, pendant with French maker's mark. Stamped with French assay marks and Pt 950 for platinum, French assay mark for gold. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 59.00 carats (largest diamond difficult to calculate due to mounting), G-H colour, VS clarity. Clasp secure, safety catch. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with age and light use. Total gross weight approximately 92 grams.
