Sapphire and diamond ring

The step-cut sapphire weighing 7.45 carats, set between triangular diamonds, size 56. 

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 55759 and Gübelin report no. 14030283, each stating that the sapphire is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Stamped PT 900 for platinum. According to the Gübelin report, the unmounted sapphire measures 12.47 x 9.78 x 5.72 mm and is of "royal blue" colour, for further information please refer to the SSEF and Gübelin reports; of strong saturation, very good transparency, few crystal inclusions visible under 10x magnification, few scratches, some small abrasions along the facet edges. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use, minor evidence of resizing. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 7 grams.
