Set with a cushion-shaped ruby weighing 2.88 carats, within a frame of circular-, single-cut and baguette diamonds, size 52, signed Boucheron, numbered.
Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore cannot be imported into the US. Please contact the jewellery department for further information or see our Important Notices.
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 72827, stating that the 2.885 carat ruby, measuring 8.09 x 8.01 x 5.15 mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating.
Signed Boucheron Paris, numbered 48.190. Stamped with indistinct French assay mark for platinum. For further information on the purplish red ruby of medium strong saturation, please refer to the report; good transparency, few crystal inclusions visible under close inspection, few scratches, some small nicks and abrasions. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use, minor evidence of resizing. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 13 grams.
