Each of scroll design, set with circular-, single-cut and baguette diamonds, each with one circular-cut diamond simulant, unsigned, French assay marks, pouch stamped M. Gerard.
Condition
The second largest diamond on each ear clip is a diamond simulant. By family tradition, these ear clips were purchased from M. Gérard; Sotheby's cannot guarantee the maker. The revised estimate is 14'000-23'000 CHF / 15'000 - 20'000 US$.
Stamped with French assay marks and Pt950 for platinum and French assay mark and Or for 18 carat gold. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 13.00 - 14.00 carats including the two largest diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 3.95 and 3.80 carat, on average of G-I colour (few with a more yellowish tint) and VS-SI clarity (few I), as gauged and graded in mounting, and not including the two circular-cut simulants. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use, solder marks on reverse. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 31 grams.
