The bracelet set with four step-cut aquamarines, between links pavé-set with circular- and single-cut diamonds, length approximately 190mm, signed Marzo, French assay marks; the sautoir suspending a mixed-cut aquamarine from a surmount and chain set with brilliant-cut diamonds, the surmount with three brilliant-cut diamonds of yellowish tint, length approximately 595mm.
Condition
The bracelet by Marzo is dated circa 1930.
Bracelet: Signed MARZO PARIS, stamped with French assay marks for platinum. Aquamarines very well matched in colour, clean to the naked eye, minor nicks and chips. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 35.00 - 36.00 carats, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Clasp secure, opens in pulling the little latch back and folding the top of the clasp up. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 118 grams.
Sautoir: Aquamarine clean to the naked eye, some very small nicks and scratches. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 13.00 - 14.00 carats, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting; please note that the three yellow diamonds have not been tested for natural colour. Clasp secure. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 110 grams.
