Two gem set and diamond brooches, one by Bulgari

One brooch designed as a heron, set with variously cut rubies, sapphires and emeralds, and pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, signed Bulgari, one stone deficient; the other brooch designed as an eagle, set with brilliant-cut diamonds and circular-cut ruby eyes, may also be worn as a pendant.

Heron: Signed Bulgari on peak. Stamped Pt950 for platinum and 750 for 18 carat yellow gold. Coloured stones well matched, with typical crystal inclusions, one stone deficient. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.00 - 2.50 carats, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 25 grams. Eagle: Maker's mark, numbered 30663. Stamped 750 for 18 carat white and yellow gold. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 22 grams.
