Composed of a line of alternating brilliant- and carré-cut diamonds, terminating at the front with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 12.54 carats, length 390mm, French assay and maker's marks.
Condition
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 72976, stating that the sapphire is of Malagasy origin, with no indications of heating.
French maker's mark ARPA with a pair of cherries between the AR and PA and Sté over the cherries. According to the SSEF report the sapphire, weighing 12.54 carat, measures 13.87 x 10.74 x 8.89 mm, blue of medium strong saturation, for further information please refer to the report; with very good transparency, with typical crystal inclusions, one surface reaching feather on girdle and facets above and below the girdle. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 38.00 - 39.00, on average of G-H colour, clarity VS-SI clarity. Clasp secure, safety latch has been removed. Signs of little wear consistent with very light use. In very good condition. Total gross weight approximately 45 grams.
