Sapphire and diamond brooch

Designed as a floral spray with five flower heads set en tremblant, decorated with oval and circular-cut sapphires and circular-cut and baguette diamonds, partial French assay and partial maker's marks, two small diamonds deficient.

Partial maker's mark on pin. Stamped with partial French assay mark for 18 carat yellow gold. En tremblant flowers very well articulated. Sapphires very well matched in colour, of medium to medium strong saturation, few crystal inclusions, few scratches and nicks. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 5.00 - 6.00 carats, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting, two small diamonds deficient. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use, minor repair marks and traces of glue. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 49 grams.
