Pair of sapphire and diamond ear clips

Each set at the centre with a cluster of pear-shaped sapphires, highlighted with swirl motifs decorated with brilliant-cut diamonds, French assay marks. 

Both clips with maker's marks on fittings, one clip inscribed SP 19.28 referring to the total weight of the sapphires, B. 9.49 referring to the total weight of the diamonds. Stamped with OR 750 and French assay marks for 18 carat yellow gold. Sapphires well matched, of medium strong to strong saturation, good clarity, few inclusions, few scratches, nicks and abrasions (two with slightly more damage). Diamonds on average of G-H colour, VS-SI clarity. Signs of little wear to the metal, few scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 30 grams.
