Set with an oval ruby stated to weigh 3.04 carats, within a mount half-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, size 481/2, French assay mark.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore cannot be imported into the US. Please contact the jewellery department for further information or see our Important Notices. Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 1001029, dated 12 January 2010, stating that the 3.04 carat ruby, measuring approximately 9.60 x 8.15 x 4.55 mm, is of Burmese origin, with indications of heating. Inscribed R. 3.04 referring to the weight of the ruby and B. 3.62 for the total weight of the diamonds. Stamped with French assay mark and OR 750 for 18 carat yellow gold. Ruby of strong saturation, with typical crystal inclusions, few surface reaching, minor nicks and abrasions; for further information please refer to the reports. Diamonds on average of G-H colour, VS-SI clarity, as graded in mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 6 grams.
