  • Gold, sapphire and diamond
The pear-shaped sapphire weighing 10.10 carats, set within a heart-shaped mount set with brilliant-cut diamonds, suspended from a fine link chain, length approximately 440mm, Italian maker's mark.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 72215 and GIA report no. 1152766287, each stating that the sapphire is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Italian mark deposited in Arezzo. Stamped with 750 for 18 carat white gold. According to the SSEF report the 10.109 carat pear-shaped sapphire measures 13.13 x 13.37 x 7.52 mm and is of strong saturation, for further information please refer to the SSEF and GIA reports; good transparency, clean to the naked eye, small inclusions visible under very close inspection with a 10x loupe, minor nicks and scratches. Diamonds bright and lively. Clasp secure. Signs of little wear to the metal. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 12 grams.
