The pendant-watch suspending a tassel, centering a cabochon moonstone within a rock crystal frame, accented by rose-cut diamonds and numerous seed pearls, the dial with Arabic numeral indexes, manual movement, the dial signed Cartier, numbered 20853; with a delicate chain decorated at intervals with seed pearls, length 12 inches; circa 1910.
Condition
In good condition. Pendant watch mechanical movement is currently running. Watch case is slightly loose within rock crystal mount. Moonstone is in good condition and has a cream and light blue adularescence. Seed pearls are off round and of a cream color with good to fair luster. Diamonds are predominantly near colorless to slightly grayish and are approximately Si-I clarity. Tassel is 1 1/2 inches in length. Accompanied by a modern Cartier box.
