Set with an oval-shaped ruby measuring approximately 12.3 by 9.5 by 6.0 mm, accented by round diamonds weighing approximately .30 carat, size 6ΒΌ.
Condition
In good condition with light scratching and nicking to the mounting; minor evidence of sizing to the shank. The ruby is a medium-deep slightly brownish red, taking on a more purplish hue under direct light. Eye-clean with minor inclusions seen under 10x magnification. By formula, the ruby weighs approximately 5.95 carats. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 62790 stating that the ruby is of Classic Thailand origin, with indications of heating.
