The floral top centered by an old European-cut diamond weighing approximately .85 carat, suspending a pendant which opens to reveal a watch dial, topped by a jadeite bead measuring approximately 10.3 mm, accented by a pearl measuring approximately 4.8 mm, decorated throughout with lapis lazuli segments and highlighted with black enamel, set throughout with old European and single-cut diamonds, the dial signed Cartier, numbered 1737; circa 1925.

Condition

In good condition overall, with some evidence of minor loss to the enamel and lapis lazuli segments; one lapis lazuli segment cracked through, but stable, only visible under close inspection. Diamonds are approximately G-I color and VS-I clarity. Jadeite sphere is a bright medium slightly bluish green color and is color mottled. The pearl is a creamy white hue with overtones of pink and green, very good luster. The movement, currently running, is signed European Watch Co Inc and case numbered 3841. Duoplan round 14 mm -6L-Swiss high grade movement. 18 Jewels - all adjustments - Geneva seal, Breguete hairspring. Crown at 6 o'clock. Arabic numerals on white enamel bezel and hinged wandering numerals for 6 and 12 o'clock in white enamel. The watch dial is hidden under a diamond set cupola - ultra thin crown also. Under silver dial is engraved "Houget" and with serial number 3841. Tested to work very accurately for 35 hours.
